Fabrication and Characterization of an 8 × 8 Terahertz Photoconductive Antenna Array for Spatially Resolved Time Domain Spectroscopy and Imaging Applications

Terahertz (THz) technology is promising in several applications such as imaging, spectroscopy and communications. Among methods the generation detection of THz waves, a time-domain system that developed using photoconductive antennas (PCA) emitter detector presents advantages simple alignment, low cost, high performance etc. In this work, we report design, fabrication characterization 2-D PCA array capable detecting both amplitude phase pulse. The fabricated LT-GaAs has 8 channels with 64 pixels ( $8 \times 8$ ). A novel approach spatial light modulator (SLM) to steer focus infrared probe beam towards presented. Each channel records photocurrent generated by signal (amplitude phase) separately frequencies up 1.4 can be detected. Furthermore, parameters directional time delay pulse, crosstalk between etc., were characterized. Finally, show proposed 2D design flexible used for accelerated spectral image acquisition.
